They are baaaaack!

I know it’s been forever since I last posted a weekly style snap but since you guys really seemed to enjoy them in the past, I’ve decided to bring them back!

I am not promising I will write them every week, but will try to post them more regularly from now on 😉

So, without further ado, let’s jump into what I’ve been up to lately!

This summer, it’s been so hot over here with heat waves hitting us every other week so I’ve been spending lots of time in the water to stay cool. And this means that a girl’s gotta have options when it comes to swimwear!

Over that last few months, I got to appreciate the one-piece trend which is very easy to throw on and style with summer accessories.

I’ve always enjoyed getting my nails done and trying out new colours and this summer, it’s no different!

When my sister and I went for a manicure two weeks ago, I decided to go with rainbow coloured pastel hues which I happened to really love!

What colour do you usually go for in the summertime? I’ve been obsessed with pastels lately!

A couple of weekends ago, we did a little afternoon escapade to Wakefield, QC.

The day was absolutely gorgeous and we stopped and ate at Café Le Hibou and sat outside on the patio overlooking the Gatineau River. The set up was so pretty that I felt like I was on vacation somewhere down south!

We had their famous fish tacos & fries and a yummy white sangria and it was delish!
I would definitely go back!

The scenery was so beautiful that after lunch, we walked by the water and watched all the people paddle boarding, kayaking or chilling in the river with their beverage of choice.

We also made our way to the Wakefield bridge for a little historical moment and it was jammed packed! Some youngsters were there jumping off the bridge and into the river! It’s a thing apparently!?
