Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a great first week of September! I can’t
believe we are already in September… where did Summer go? Although, it still feels like Summer with temperature hitting high 30s here in Ottawa (Canada), I am slowly accepting that it won’t last forever and that we need to make space for Fall. What I love the most about Fall is the fashion : long cardigans, leather jackets, jeans, plaid t-shirts, combat boots… it’s like the rock n roll of fashion for me. I feel like I dress more ‘bad-ass’ for some reason 😉
So here’s to a new month and let’s get into my weekly post #3 🙂

When I first posted this photo on Instagram last week, I had many questions and comments about this satin kimono blazer. A lot of you were intrigued by it and digging this pre-fall look. I got this blazer a year ago at Zara and the colour (like a rose gold) and beautiful autumn coloured flowers caught my attention right away! It’s literally a blazer but has a sash you can tie around the waist that feels more like a kimono (it’s tied to the back in the pic, that’s why you can’t see it!).
I usually pair it with denim and a plain shirt or cami but there are so many ways to style it, the possibilities are endless.
Because this is an oldie, obviously, it’s not available anymore but I found this one that has a similar look and this one as well.
I also found a dupe that is very similar and almost identical to mine!

I went out to dinner on Thursday night to celebrate with my main man and it was so nice outside and not humid like the previous weekend, it was actually enjoyable to walk around town. I wore this cute dress & leather jacket which I will share with you guys in a future post 🙂 Of course, I like to end my dinner dates with an ice cream so we went up to Sweet Jesus in the Market (Ottawa, Canada) and it was very good! Summer is still here, let’s make the most of it! 🙂
On Saturday night, I had a great dinner date with a girlfriend of mine which I haven’t seen in a while so that was super fun and nice to finally catch up! We were both feeling low-key so I dressed up pretty casually: distressed denim shorts, a body suit and a fun blazer. I got a lot of questions and comments about this top & this blazer.
It’s the perfect little combo for a pre-fall look! Pair them with denim shorts like I did or jeans when it will get colder outside.
I also found this blazer that has a similar vibe to mine but in another colour.

I finished off my busy week with a lovely manicure @ The Tenth Spot in Westboro.
Oh. Em. Gee.
My sister gave me this gift receipt at the beauty spa for my birthday and I was dying to try it out. Let me just say it does not disappoint. The girl who did my manicure was super friendly and we laughed the whole time.
I liked it so much that I will book an appointment for a pedi really soon!
So there you have it! My adventures for the week!
Keep coming back next Sunday 🙂
