Labour Day Long Weekend

When I say Labour Day long weekend, what is the first thing that pops into your mind? For me, it’s:

1. Last few days to wear my white jeans;
2. Last long weekend to enjoy Summer;
3. Hot Air Balloon Festival in my hometown;
4. Starting slowly to put away my Summer clothes and;
5. Going through my Fall wardrobe to donate or sell what I am not wearing anymore.

And of course, shopping for Fall pieces.

This weekend, I am going to enjoy everything Summer has to offer before it actually gets more chilly outside. I’ll enjoy a drink on a patio, a run outside or a hike in the Gatineau Park, a walk around my hometown in a summer dress and of course, my favourite… an ice cream cone 🙂

I love Summer and I never want it to go away but I also like Fall Fashion: big cozy sweaters, booties, jeans, plaid shirt… oh the endless possibilities! I am also excited to show you my outfit ideas for Fall, I think you will enjoy them!

In the beginning of September, you can still wear your summer attire during the day but in the evening, you definitely need to add layers as it becomes cooler.

For daytime, I wore a summer dress with a jean jacket as a cover up and flat sandals.

For evening, I opted for distressed jeans, a summer blouse, open-toe booties and a leather jacket for extra warmth.
