The Bomber Jacket

In the beginning of June, the temperature during the day can go up to mid twenty but the evenings are still cool… it’s not quite summer yet. That’s when the bomber jacket comes in handy. Half a coat, half a jacket, not too heavy, not too light… it comes in a variety of prints, fabric and style. All the kids in the 90s (myself included!) owned one or two and now, it’s making a huge come back into our Spring wardrobe!

I have to admit, I now own more than one (*blush*), but I think they are a good staple to have in your day-to-day wardrobe. I find myself to be wearing them for various reasons and on very different occasions – over a shift dress with heels during the work week or simply over a casual top, denim and converse for a more laid-back style. I think the bomber jacket adds instant style to any outfit!

The type of bomber that you will see everywhere this season is the satin bomber. I love a nice neutral one in light pink for a good basic but my heart skipped a beat when I spoted this beautiful black satin one with a vibrant tropical print. ‘WOW!’ I told myself. I will definitely be adding this one to my ‘bomber’ collection!

  1. I do agree that owning a bomber jacket is a must and certainly essential in ones wardrobe.

The colours of this particular bomber jacket are very lovely indeed and groom well with pants, skirts, shorts, et cetera.

A very practical day-to-day jacket whether a tropical print or neutral.

    I love it!
