Tulips = Spring!

Finally, Spring is in the air! The days are getting warmer, the birds are starting to sing in the morning and…. the flowers are blooming!!!! And I LOVE flowers. I am obsessed with them. Is it because I was born in early April that I love them so much? Or perhaps it’s all about the beautiful colours? Bottom line is I am getting excited to walk around in my local market and see all those beautiful flowers displayed for my eyes to enjoy!

May is the month of the Canadian Tulip Festival – the streets and parks are filled with beautiful tulips everywhere in a range of rainbow colours where people and tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Of course, I had to dress up for the occasion (wink wink) so I picked up a flower (surprise!) bomber jacket to wear over a lilac open shoulder t-shirt (it’s still a bit chilly!) and my go-to basic: casual ripped jeans. The perfect outfit for a sunny Sunday afternoon!
