Ok, so we’ve been under lockdown for more than a year now and we are all starting to go cray-cray a bit, am I right?

With vaccination being more and more accessible in different countries at the moment, we are slowly seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and are starting to think that maybe this summer, we’ll be able to go away for a little weekend getaway?

I always get super excited to go on a short trip or weekend-er somewhere (anywhere, please!) so I thought it would be fun to share with your what I would bring with me on three different weekend destinations.

If you are heading to the beach for a weekend, you need these essentials to protect you from the sun and UV rays: a wide-brim sun hat, sunnies, a swimsuit cover-up and of course, sunscreen!

For a city getaway weekend, comfort is key so sneakers and a flowy dress are always a good choice! A blazer is also a great piece to have with you because it can instantly dress up your casual dress and sneaks combo but also keep you warm if you get chilly! Accessorize with a small shoulder bag and trendy sunnies and voilà!

When I think of a weekend at the cottage, I think of tie-dye, sweats, baseball cap and a backpack to carry my belongings. Sporty but fun at the same time. You are there to relax and get away from your busy life so it’s ok to pack light and wear the same pieces over the weekend.
