Who doesn’t like to wear sequins during the Holiday Season?
Especially with the weird year we just had, I think it’s even more important that we say goodbye to 2020 on a high and positive note and that we welcome 2021 with open arms with and a glass of champagne 😉
Even though, we are all under lockdown for the Holidays (ugh!), I wanted to end my Holiday Look Series with some sequins! I have created 3 different looks with shiny pieces to make the most of your stay-at-home-ring-in-the-new-year outfits this year. Wether you want to go all glam or more casual, I have the outfits for you 🙂

1. SEQUINED SKIRT
The sequined skirt is very trendy this Holiday Season. It comes in many different lengths and styles, but my favourite one is definitely the midi skirt. Find one in a neutral colour like beige, silver or even black to mix & match it with a plain top and let this beautiful skirt shine on it’s own.
**Style tip: adding faux leather, such as a top or an accessory, gives this girly outfit an edgy vibe.
2. SEQUINED BLOUSE
Once again this year, the sequined blouse is making a huge comeback for the Holidays and it is the most versatile piece of them all! It’s a great choice if you want to incorporate some sparkles in your outfit but don’t want to look like a disco ball.
It looks great with denim or faux leather trousers and I personally like the neutral tones like beige, black or even rose gold.
**Style tip: wear it with simply anything and it will elevate your outfit in a flash!
3. SEQUINED DRESS
The sequined dress is the most out there of them all. If you like flashy & shiny pieces, you will love this dress! It definitely makes a statement when you walk in a room! (or your living room for that matter haha!)
Find one that hugs you in all the right places and is a good fit. A wrap dress or a romper is always flattering on most body types. I would also suggest to buy one in a neutral colour so you can play up with your accessories over time and change your look!
**Style tip: you will keep this dress in your closet for many years to come (as we don’t wear them often) so find one that can really be versatile and that goes with accessories you already have.
