HOLIDAY LOOK SERIES – DARK GREEN

The Holiday Season is finally here although this year, it will be very different.

No house parties, no visiting relatives or family dinners but we can still have fun and dress up, right? Even if we are all staying home, it will keep our mood up & the Christmas spirit alive! And, I think we need this more than ever.

My Holiday Look Series is back again this year with new outfit ideas to help & inspire you to create your own twist on your festive attires!

And I’m starting this series with my new obsession at the moment: dark green. I have created 3 different looks with dark green pieces… wether you prefer a lot or just a touch, you can definitely find something that appeals to you and incorporate it in your Holiday looks!

As always, I’ve linked everything down below so you can easily shop my looks and add to cart!

Ready? Let’s jump right into my Holiday Look #1 🙂

ROMPER ( DUPE, LOVE THIS ONE TOO ) | SATIN SHIRT DRESS | SWEATER ( ANOTHER GREAT STYLE ) | SKIRT – NOT AVAILABLE ( SIMILAR STYLE, ANOTHER GREAT OPTION ) | BAG – NOT AVAILABLE ( SIMILAR STYLE ) | ANKLE BOOTS ( LOVE THESE )

1. ROMPER

Not quite a dress (there are shorts underneath!) but look exactly like one, the romper is a great alternative for the Holidays! It is super comfortable and you won’t be worried about flashing your undies if you catch the wind walking up to your car! You can style this little number in oh so many different ways by keeping it more casual with flat boots/shoes or a little more dressy with ankle sock booties & even heels!

**Style tip: add your favourite bag & booties to dress up a romper.

2. SATIN SHIRT DRESS

The satin shirtdress is such a great choice for a Holiday outfit this year as it’s very trendy right now! The idea here is to look like you are wearing your boyfriend ‘oversized shirt’ when it’s actually a dress. Get it? It is very comfortable and feel expensive even though it doesn’t have to be. Be careful to style it well so it doesn’t look like you’re stepping out wearing your bedtime attire. I also suggest grabbing your normal size so it fits your body perfectly – not too snug as satin emphasizes every lumps & bumps or not too big as you will lose your body shape.

**Style tip: add your favourite bag & heeled booties to wear it like a dress and not a nightgown.

3.KNIT SWEATER

A nice warm & cozy knit sweater will probably be your best friend this Holiday Season as it’s such a versatile piece! Wear it with a pair of jeans for a casual look or a pleated faux leather skirt for a more festive look! The possibilities are endless.

**Style tip: add your favourite bag & heeled booties to dress up an everyday sweater.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this first post of my Holiday Look Series! Stay tuned for Look #2 coming shortly.

See you in my next one! XO
