NYE SERIES – LOOK 2

Let’s continue the NYE Series with my Look 2 – Sequin Sweater.

Sequins to me screams New Year’s Eve party. But in fact, this season, they were everywhere way before the Holiday Season came along. I have noticed they started popping up in-stores and online in the Fall and some people were already incorporating these show-stoppers in their day-to-day wardrobe!

These glittery attire are sooo in right now, you can basically pair them with anything by toning them down with neutral pieces you already have in your closet. And, if you love glittery things, well you are in luck my friend because ’tis the season!

I have styled this sequin sweater in 3 different ways to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. Although it’s very flashy, when worn with more neutral bottoms like black or dark denim, it actually tones it down a notch.

LOOK 1 – SEQUIN SWEATER + COATED DENIM (left)

I love this look. It’s fun, it’s sparkly & it’s party ready! I think it’s perfect to ring in the new year in style! You can totally rock this look almost everywhere – house party, happening hot spot or even a cool event. I’ll have another glass of champagne, please!

LOOK 2 – SEQUIN SWEATER + PLEATED SKIRT (centre)

I am in love with this skirt. I have styled it many different ways during the Holidays and why not with this sequin sweater! I would wear this outfit to a fancy dinner in a restaurant or a nice soirée somewhere. Classy with an edge, exactly how I like it! Plus, the velvet booties complete the look.

LOOK 3 – SEQUIN SWEATER + DARK DENIM (right)

Are you staying home and hosting game night with friends? Or will you try your best at karaoke? This is the perfect outfit if you are not going anywhere specific with a dress code but you still want to look festive! I have paired the sequin sweater with dark denim and furry slides for a cozy but fun look.

There you have it my friends… my second look of the NYE Series!
