Now that Christmas is over (boo!), I would like to start talking about New Year’s Eve which is approaching really fast! So, to end the year on a beautiful note, I will share with you in my next posts, 3 different looks that you can totally rock for the occasion!
Every year, no matter how much you are prepared, the same dilemma resurface: what should I wear for New Year’s Eve?
Should I wear a glittery top? A sequin dress? Can I wear denim? Fear no more my friends, I am here to inspire you and end this struggle!
So, let’s begin the NYE series with Look 1 – Shiny Top
I have created 3 different looks with 1 simple top. What I like about this colourful top is that it’s still festive without being too much glittery. There is a sheen to it but it’s subtle so this makes it very versatile and easy to incorporate in your day-to-day wardrobe once the party’s over.

LOOK 1 – SHINY TOP + PLEATED SKIRT (left)
I think this is a really cute look if you are having dinner with the fam or are heading out to have a nice meal at a restaurant with bae. It’s chic enough for the occasion but it still has that little shine that we all love for NYE. I finished off the look with a pair of velvet booties and a clutch.
LOOK 2 – SHINY TOP + LEATHER SHORTS (centre)
This look is a great if you are doing a girl’s night out by grabbing a bite to eat at that new restaurant or dancing the night away with the girl gang! There’s a bit more going on in this look with all the mix of textures but I still think it blends very well together by adding neutral accessories.
LOOK 3 – SHINY TOP + HIGH WAISTED PANTS (right)
Ok, now… this look is perfect if you have a house party to attend and you know you will be eating (again!) and playing games all night long. The high waisted pants gives you comfort & style while the top is still screaming party time!
This concludes Look 1 of the NYE Series! If you saw something you liked in this post, I am linking everything below 🙂
