GETAWAY RECAP

Even though I went to Punta Cana in April and did this amazing road trip to California in June (will be posting a blog about it soon!), I took a few days off this week to just resource and spend time with my people without really a schedule or definite plans.

I wanted to just enjoy these few days and go with the flow… and it felt really good 🙂

We ended up going to Quebec City for a day or two and it was beautiful, like always. I love the vibe of this city… full or tourists with many cute patios to enjoy! Of course, everyone speaks French there which is cool because I feel like not many cities speak French anymore and since it’s my first language, it’s always nice!

I decided to take a break from doing a fashion photo shoot during this little getaway and just enjoy myself and the beautiful scenery. So, you won’t find me in any of those pics, just beautiful shots of the city 🙂

VIEUX-QUÉBEC

We pretty much walked all day and just went wherever we felt like. The city was packed with locals and tourists and there were so many activities, shows and festivals going on, you can’t really get bored in this city 🙂

Of course, we had to stop for one of the best cappuccino’s of my life with a piece of pecan pie! There is something so romantic about Québec City where you can just sit outside on a cute cobblestone patio full of flowers, sip your cappuccino and just watch people walk by for hours.

PETIT CHAMPLAIN

The street art is always so impressive to me. Especially, the umbrella street art that’s been popping in many different cities around the world this summer!
AMAZING!

CAFÉ DU MONDE

What a great concept this is! You order your drink, find a seat and put your feet in the water to cool off. With the crazy heat waves we’ve been having in Canada this summer, this is probably the best thing I have ever seen.
Drink in the water anyone?

We also watched this amazing show at the Agora du Vieux-Port and I have to say, I was pretty amazed by this young circus troop. These guys have pure raw talent and creativity. They are artists and athletes all wrapped into one. I couldn’t ask for a better way to end our busy day in Québec City.

That sums it up and I hope you guys had an amazing weekend!

More fashion posts are coming up on my blog this week so keep checking 🙂
