For those of you who already follow my style journey on Instagram, I did a poll recently on my InstaStories asking if you would like to see more of my try ons and faves. The votes came in and it was positive! YAY! I am super excited about this, so this post will be my first of many to come!
For the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale, I made it to my store (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) to check out the goodies and went through the sales racks like I always do. I have to admit, after being in the US for the last 2 weeks, you guys DEFINITELY have the best selection out there ! I mean, I think it’s a shame because if you are a Canadian resident, it’s very hard and complicated to actually purchase something online (trust me, I have tried many attempts but they all failed haha!) Or perhaps there is a trick or maybe someone knows something I don’t, so if you are one of those people, PLEASE let me know! I will be more than happy to read your comments or emails 🙂
So, I did a little try out session and I rounded up my fave pieces (coup de coeur, in French) that day. Of course, since then, I went on a little shopping spree in Vegas and got AMAZING pieces! Can’t wait to share with you in future posts!

Love the ruffles!
I saw this top on many bloggers’ accounts recently and was secretly hopping I would find it in store. And to my big excitement, I did!
Normally, this brown terra-cotta is not in the colour palette that I usually go for, but because brown is very much in style right now, I was getting curious on how it would actually look on me. And to my big surprise, I kinda liked it a lot.
This top is amaziiiing – it comes in a off white colour as well but I thought the rusty colour was different then what I already own. It’s a little fitted and more on the shorter side so you could always go up a size if you wish to have it a little looser and longer. I love ruffles so I was immediately drawn to the style of this top. I am wearing a small for reference. This was a hit for me!

I’m obsessed!
Ok. Seriously. These shorts are my second fave piece from the sale! They are soooo comfy, I could probably live in them all summer long!
I’ve tried on a small and they fit true to size. I would wear them with a tucked-in cami (or a bodysuit) and of course, a cropped top like the one in the photo. I am planning on wearing these with a neutral coloured top (like black or white) and a pop of colour for my bag or sandals.

That back bow!
When I saw this top at first, I was thinking ‘ok, it’s cute but…’ and then I turned it around and there it was: a beautiful bow! Oooooohhh!
This top definitely made it to the list of my faves! The material of the top is very airy and soft and I am obsessed right now with anything with stripes so I immediately fell in love. And the detailing of that top is what makes it unique! Blue / white is also very in style right now so I know I will wear it with either white denim or cut-off denim shorts.
I tried it in my normal size and it fits pretty well. This top is more of a relaxed fit so you don’t need to go up a size in my opinion.
