In Canada, we celebrate Victoria Day Holiday which means we get a long weekend at the end of May. Everyone is always super excited about it as it’s technically the first warm long weekend of Spring / Summer!
Every Canadian I know is either at a cottage, out on a road trip or just simply chilling around town.
In my hometown, Ottawa (the National Capital Region), it’s also the Canadian Tulip Festival. No matter how many times I drove, jogged or walked by, I’m always amazed by how beautiful it is. Mind you, I am obsessed with flowers to begin with (haha!) so it’s no surprise that I am a little biased in a way 😉
Each year, thousands of tourists from all over the world come to Ottawa to admire these beautiful flowers so I consider myself lucky to have the chance to simply see this every day.
