People who knows me well appreciate the fact that I am a very colourful girl. Brights, primary colours and prints, I love them all! But I have to admit, from time to time, I also enjoy dark hues… like black. All black everything. Whether in lace, leather or chiffon, I think a great black garment makes a good canvas in a girl’s wardrobe. For me, black is a basic essential and it goes well with any skin tone or hair colour. And it looks good on EVERYONE.
During summertime, the trick is to find a light and breezy fabric to keep you cool while wearing your favourite dark coloured clothes. So I gave myself a mission: try to find the perfect dress for me to wear on repeat during those hot summer days.
And I think I found it.
In my opinion, the best way to wear all black (and not look so serious!) is to add a pop of colour like I did in the photo below. It adds a nice punch to a rather monochrome outfit and it makes it more fun and summerlike.
